Mocha's Grave

I took the boys out to Mocha's grave today to say goodbye. We planted a rose bush for her. It is called Queen Elizabeth (grandiflora). It will grow tall with beautiful pink roses. I was touched to see that the neighbor kids had obviously been there and there were a few flowers already placed there. Jonathan layed down on her grave and cried. He wanted to know why she wasn't coming back and who was going to take care of him now. That broke my heart. I took pictures of where she is and one of her paw prints still in the dirt outside our backyard. She is buried under the great big tree at the end of our property.
Today was a better day. I miss her terribly and wish it was all a dream. Not so much luck. She still wasn't here today and planting the rose made it very final.
