Changes have begun

Yesterday was Tayler's first day of school. After being homeschooled for the last 4 years we have decided to put him in a private school. It is helpful to free me up so I can study but I do miss him.
I was not able to take him to his first day because I was at school myself. That really stunk but my Mom took him and made it special. I took him today though! It was odd to be driving him to school. When I dropped him off I walked him onto campus just a bit and then watched him walk all of the way in. His blonde freshly cut hair was glistening in the sun and he was so excited to be there early to play with his new friend Grahm. Can you believe I left there unable to fight back the tears. I guess it does not matter how old your child is; the first day of school is hard on the parents. I know I am a dork but sheesh there are so many changes for all of us!!!
Jonathan likes his new babysitters house. She said he just talked her ear off. :) That's my Jonathan. He is getting so responsible with his homework and remembering to return his folders to class. I am so proud of him!
Oh, one last thing I forgot to tell you that you might find amusing. Remember wrapping your textbooks with a brown paper bag so they were safely covered? Well, I ruined every book cover I tried to make last night trying to cover Tayler's books. Can you say it has been a long time?
Okay I really need to be studying. I will write more later. :)
